DALGETY AND CO. (LIMITED) have received instructions to sell in their yards, on account of the Executors of the estate of the late Mr. James Judd, the whole of his splended herd of dairy cows, etc., comprising-
41 cows, calved since May. Mostly August and September
10 cows, springing
5 heifers
12 yearling heifers
2 bulls
Also,
1 brake
2 horses
15 new milk-cans
12cwt seed potatoes, and sundry articles

The Messrs. Judd have been connected with dairying for some years, and their cows are well-known for their excellence in breeding. This is a splendid opportunity for obtaining first-class dairy cattle.

COMMERCIAL
Dalegty and Company, Ltd., Wellington, report having held a most sucessful clearing sale at Hayward''s on the 10th inst, on account of Mr James Judd. There was a large attendance of buyers, and all lots were quitted under the hammer at satisfactory prices. A line of 130 ewes with lambs sold at 16s, and 144 mixed hoggets at 12s. Good dairy cows fetched from 6 pounds 5s to 7 pounds 6s, and the whole herd averaged from about 4 pounds 10s per head, 6 18-months helfers 1 pound 11s; 1 3-year old filly 21 pounds, yearling filly 7 pounds 5s, one harness mare in foal, 11 pounds 17s 6d, one 7 year old harness mare 25 pounds
