HILL.- March 25, at Waimea-street, Henrietta Maria, (Tottie) sixth and beloved daughter of Isaac Mason and Mary Hill aged 22 years

Funeral.— Yesterday afternoon, the funeral of the late Miss H. M. Hill, the daughter of Mr I. M. Hill, took place, when there was a large following of citizens. The Rev. F. Innes-Jones read the Burial Service of the Church of England. When the coffin was lowered into the grave it was covered with many beautiful floral wreaths. At the grave, Mr Jones delivered a brief, but impressive and appropriate address. He urged upon his hearers that though men could not understand God''s ways, still he was a God of Love, and that, though hard to understand, bereavements were intended for their eternal good. He prayed that the bereaved ones might be able to submit to this heavy blow, and have faith that it was inflicted for a good and wise purpose. The departed one could not return to them, she had trusted in Jesus'' love, and was with Him in that sweet rest, but they could prepare to meet her there.
