DEATH
CHAMBERLAIN.- On March 1st, at Miki Miki, Samuel E. Chamberlain, aged 34 years.

We regret to hear of the death of Mr Samuel E. Chamberlain of Miki Miki, the youngest brother of a well known and highly esteemed family in this neighborhood, The deceased was suffering during the past week from an attack of inflammation of the bowels, induced by a copious drink of cold water when heated by harvest work, but it was not anticipated that the illness was to prove fatal in its character. On Saturday night, however, Mr Chamberlain breathed his last, leaving a widow and two young children to mourn their loss, The funeral is arranged to leave the residence of Mr E. E. Chamberlain on the Upper Plain at 2 p.m. to-morrow.
