The death occurred at Wellington yesterday of Mr T. P. Kemble, formerly of "Ernlast," Rangitumau, at the age of 52 years. Deceased was formerly a prominent footballer and cricketer, and was a member of the Carlton B team which won the Wairarapa Thursday Championship in 1903-04 and 1904-05. Shortly after disposing of his property at Rangitumau he took up his residence at the Lower Hutt, but had not resided there many months when his heatlh broke down. For the last three years he had been under medical treatment. Messrs Charles and Robert Kemble, of Carterton, are brothers of deceased. He leaves three daughters Mrs A. Larcombe (Christchurch), Miss Freda Kemble (Wellington), and Miss Ailsa Kemble (Christchurch). Mrs Kemble died about 14 years ago. The funeral will leave the Masterton railway station for the Masterton Cemetery to-morrow on arrival of the 2.30 p.m. train from Wellington.
