A wedding which occasioned a good deal of local interest was celebrated at St. Matthew''s Church, at 2.30 o''clock yesterday afternoon, when Mr J. F. Redmond, manager of the Eketahuna branch of the W.F.C.A., was married to Miss B. M. ("Trissy") Welch, youngest daughter of Mrs H. Welch, of Lincoln-road, Masterton. The Rev. W. The bride was attired in a gown of white Duchesse satin, trimmed with silk lace and chiffon, wearing the orthodox veil and orange blossom, and carrying a prayer book in place of the usual floral bouquet.
