An elderly man named Tuck, formerly hotelkeeper at Eketahuna, died suddenly at Halcombe this morning. Dr Charlton has given out a certificate that he died from apoplexy, and therefore no inquest will be necessary.

An elderly man named Tuck, husband of Mrs Tuck of the railway refreshment rooms at Halcombe, died this morning from apoplexy. Deceased was formerly landlord of an hotel at Ekatahuna. Dr Charlton has given a certificate as to the cause of death, therefore no inquest will be necessary.
