A Celebration
A most enjoyable afternoon was spent at the home of Mrs. F. Gerrie, sen., recently, the occasion being the 80th birthday of Mrs. Minogue. Cards were played, and at afternoon tea Mrs. Minogue cut her birthday cake. The singing of "For She''s a Jolly Good Fellow" brought a very pleasant party to a close. Among those present were Mesdames Minogue, Gerrie, sen Anderson, Barker, Heggie, H. Hall, Watts, F. Gerrie, Booth, J. Gerrie, Pilcher, F. Alsop, Murphy, Gilbert, W. Mudgway, Gaskin, J. Pilcher, M. Perry, Lawrence, Foster, A. J. Hobbs, A. Peck, H. Mudgway, Reeder, Brookes, and Gordon.

Loved grandfather of his 25 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Aged 86 years. No flowers please. Donations to Crippled Children''s Society, 86-90 Vivian St, Wellington.
