SWAIN.- In sad and loving memory of our dear father, Joseph Swain, who passed away on the 4th July, 1915.
We never knew the pain he had,
We never saw him die;
We only know he passed away,
And never said good-bye.

The weary hours and days of pain,
The troubled sleepless nights are passed;
The ever patient worn-out frame
Has found sweet rest at last.

When days are dark and friends are few,
Dear husband, how I long for you.

The troubled, sleepness nights are passed;
The ever patient worn out frame
Has found sweet rest at last.

-
SWAIN.- In loving memory of my dear brother, Joseph Swain, who fell asleep on the 4th July, 1915, aged 48 years.
