The death has occurred of Mr. George Davison, who celebrated his 100th birthday last Saturday. Mr. Davison arrived in New Zealand in 1862 (sic). He worked in Stokes Valley and later farmed in Kairanga, near Palmerston North, proving very successful in the pioneer block.
