DUNEDIN, this day.
The death is announced of Mr. George Watford Sare, local manager of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantil Agency Company for the past 14 years. Deceased is reputed to have been the oldest servant of the company in New Zealand. He joined the London office in the seventies, and was manager of the Hamilton branch for 17 years, being a pioneer in the opening up of the Waikato.

Mr. Charles N. Draper, who has been associated with the New Zealand Loan and Mercantil Agency Co. Ltd., as auctioneer for some years, has now been appointed manager of the Dunedin branch in succession to the late Mr. Geo. W. Sare, says a P.A. message.
