THE Friends of the late Abraham John Harris are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral, which will leave his late residence, Pukio, Dyerville, for the Old Cemetery, Martinborough, Tomorrow, July 1, 1933, at 12.30 p.m.

The death occurred at his residence, "Pukio," Martinborough, on Thursday last, of Mr. Abraham John Harris, an old identity of the Wairarapa. The late Mr. Harris was born at Taita, Hutt Valley, in 1854, and settled at Martinborough forty-three years ago. Mr. Harris is survived by three sons and ten daughters. His sister, Mrs. Dew, of Masterton, is the only, surviving member of the original Harris family, which arrived at Wellington from England in, 1840 by the ship Bolton. The funeral was largely attended. The Rev. Mr. Hardie conducted the service at the home and at the graveside. The interment was at Martinborough.
