DEATH OF MR FLETCHER HARRISON.
We learn that Mr Fletcher Harrison, of Warrengate, died very suddenly this morning. The deceased was a son of the late Mr Henry Shafto Harrison, and was widely known throughout the district.

Friends are informed that the funeral will leave his late residence, Warrengate, on Tuesday, the 13th instant, at 1 o''clock arriving at the Matarawa Church about 3 o''clock.- THOMAS PRICE, Undertaker, Harrison Street

The very sudden demise of Mr Charles Fletcher Harrison recorded in our last impression was received with widespread regret throughout the district, the news at first seeming hardly credible considering that he had been in town on Thursday last and then appeared to be in his usual health. It appears that about eleven o''clock on Saturday morning he was found face downward in the garden on his farm at Warrengate by one of the workmen named Beecher, who procured assistance, and had the body taken into the house. At first it was thought to be only a fainting fit, but further examination proved life to be extinct. An inquest, conducted by Constable Stacey, was held on Sunday afternoon, before Mr B. N. Lifflton, acting Coroner, and Dr Saunders, who made an examination of the body, having stated that death was due to pulmonary apoplexy, the jury returned a verdict accordingly. The deceased, who was in his 35th year, was born at Warrengate, and was married to a daughter of Archdeacon Fancourt, of Wellington, and Mrs Harrison, who is left with two ohildren has the sincere sympathy of a large circle of friends in her bereavement. The funeral takes place to-morrow afternoon at one o''clock arriving at Matarawa cemetery at 3 o''clock.
