ELLIOTT - GOTT.- On the 5th October, 1921, at St. Joseph''s Church, Buckle-street, by the Rev. Father McDermott, James Edwin, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Elliott, Featherston, to Ethel Annie, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gott, of Wellington.

The wedding was solemnised recently at St. Joseph''s Church. Wellington, of Miss Annie Gott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gott, of Wellington, to Mr. James Elliott, of Featherston. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dress of shell-pink crepe-de-chine and georgette with a hand-embroidered veil, and wreath of orange blossoms. Her shower bouquet was of palest pink roses and tulips. The Misses Lena and Kathleen Gott were bridesmaids, the former wearing a dainty frock of white crepe-de-chine, and carrying a shower bouquet of sweet peas, and roses, and the latter shell-pink with touches of pale blue, and a bouquet to match. Dulcie Higginson Was a flower girl, and Mr. Leonard Mather was the best man, Mr. Thomas Gott being groomsman. A reception was afterwards held at the Victoria Hall, where the parents of the bride received their guests. Later, Mr. and Mrs. Elliott left for the North, the bride''s travelling frock being of nigger-brown, with hat to match.
