A wedding took place at St. James'' Church, Lower Hutt, on Thursday, when Miss Maud Russell was united to Mr. Fredk. Edwards, of Taita. The bride was given away by the bridegroom''s brother, Mr. H. Edwards, and was attired in cream figured nun''s veiling, trimmed with lace and ribbon with the customary veil and orange blossoms. The dress of the chief bridesmaid (Miss Kate Russell) was of lavender nun''s veiling trimmed with cream lace. There were three other bridesmaids — Miss A. Daniel, in a cream dress with lace, and Misses E. Edwards and S. Russell in pink, trimmed with ribbon. The bride''s travelling dress was brown serge trimmed with velvet.
