At Konini, near Pahiatua, on April 9th, the Rev. James McCaw, united in matrimony Mr James G. Brechin, son of Mr J. C. Brechin, of Wanganui, and Miss Lillian Maud Brown, daughter of Mr James Brown, Brookland, Scarborough. The bride was dressed in a handsome robe of silver grey voile, with flounces and train of white lace, a pleated bolero bodice, trimmed with satin aad embroidered chiffon, also veil and blossoms, and carried a trail bouquet. The bridegroom was attended by Mr G. H. Brown (a cousin), the bridesmaids being Miss Jean Brechin, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Ethel Burt, cousin of the bride, the former being attired in a pale lemon-coloured silk, the latter in a frock of palest green and white, lace.
