The death is also announced of Mr R. A. Kemp, who for many years had been a resident of Hawera. He was in business in town for a considerable time, but was not very robust, and relinquished it for other pursuits. A son, Mr Herbert Kemp, is on the staff of the Post and Telegraphs Department at New Plymouth, and Mrs Thorpe, of Eltham, is a daughter.
