WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
TENDERS FOR PAVING THE MAIN EAST COAST HIGHWAY, LOWER HUTT AND TAITA SECTIONS.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the undersigned up to 3 p.m. on FRIDAY, the 10th JANUARY, 1930, for the Paving of the Main East Coast Highway, Lower Hutt and Taita Sections.
Plans and specification may be seen at the office of the City Engineer, Mercer street, city.
Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Paving Main East Coast Highway, Lower Hutt and Taita Sections.”

The Lower Hutt City Council last evening decided the name High Street should be extended to that portion of the road now known as Main Road, extending through Taita from Park Avenue to the city boundary.
