Scope and Contents : River in the foreground, a broad field with cows grazing beyond, with trees, a church and other buildings in the background and hills in the distance.
Other Notes : The title appears to be incorrect. There is no “All Saints Church” at Taita (or at Lower Hutt). The main church at Taita, Christ Church is much closer to the hill than the church shown here, there is no large house beside it, its spire is at the opposite end of the roof when viewed from the river and the distance from the river is too small. The view may be of Lower Hutt and a different church. The nearest All Saints Church was a Methodist one at Belmont.
