A Recent Wedding.
The marriage of Miss Arita Howe, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. V. Howe, of Lloyd street, Wellington, to Mr. Robert Peers Adams, youngest son of the late Captain Adams and Mrs. C. T. Adams, Lower Hutt, was solemnised at the Kent Terrace Presbyterian Church, when the Rev. J. Baird officiated. The bride''s charming frock was of silver tissue and cream lace, her veil of fine net and lace falling from a coronet of pearls and orange blossom. Her bouquet was of cream roses. The bridesmaids were Misses Eva Howe, in mauve lace; Lydia Wilson, primrose-coloured lace; Mavis Howe, in pink; and Alma Tucker, in green lace, each wearing a hat of crinoline straw to match the frock, and with bouquets to tone also. Mr. J. W. T. Adams was best man, and Mr. J. Natusch was groomsman. The reception was held at the home of the bride, Mrs. Howe receiving the guests, who were many in number, and friends of both families.
