MRS O. E. ADAMS
DEATH ON WAY HOME FROM HOSPITAL
Just discharged from the Masterton Hospital where she had been a patient following on an operation, Mrs Olive Evelyn Adams, of Cornwall Street, Masterton, collapsed yesterday afternoon while on her way home in a taxi and died.
The late Mrs Adams who was born in Carterton 52 years ago, had lived for practically all her life in the Wairarapa. She was a member for the Nga Totara Scout Committee and was also a member of the Church of Epiphany and Upper Plain Women''s Institute.
She is survived by her husband, four sons and two daughters. The sons are Messrs L. G. T. Adams, (Tokanui), N. D. Adams (Auckland), D. L. Adams and G. H. Adams (Masterton). The daughters are Mrs Ian Reynolds and Miss E. O. Adams (Masterton).
The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving Hyde''s Chapel, following a service at 2 p.m., for the Clareville cemetery.
