SHOOTING FATALITY.
EX- WELLINGTON RESIDENT KILLED.
Mr. Wyvern William''s, third son of Mr. T. C. Williams, of Hobson-street, Wellington was accidentally shot at Kaipara Heads yesterday, and succumbed to his injuries shortly afterwards. The deceased who was a native of Wellington and about 40 years of age was the owner of a sheep station in the Kaipara district, and had resided on it for eight years. He was educated at Wellington College and Canterbury College. Last year he was married to the only daughter of Mr. Maurice Mason, of Hastings. Messrs. Guy and Algar Williams, brothers of the deceased gentleman, left Wellington for Kaipara to-day for the purpose of attending the funeral. A telegram received this morning by the relatives in Wellington states that the deceased was cleaning a gun, and was not aware that it was loaded.
