THE GOODWILL OF LEASE in that valuable property situate at the Taita, known as "The Oaks Farm Boardinghouse." The residence contains 12 rooms, with spacious balcony, also a cottage adjoining, containing 9 rooms. The first motor car run under the auspices of the Wellington Automobile Club was held on Saturday afternoon. A start was made from the Post Office about half-past 2, and thirteen cars started, headed by the Mayor (Hon. T. W. Hislop). Owing to several cars being late they were not away together, as intended. Upon arrival at the Oaks, Taita, afternoon tea was served, and several photographs were taken at the grounds. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent.
