Leonard A. Searle, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Alfred Searle, of Taita, was successful in winning the coveted Brown and Sharp Tool Prize at the Wellington Technical College this year. He received his primary education at the Taita School where he had the honour of being Dux of the school.
