MARTON.
Sept 9
George Abraham Partride found dead this morning at back of Court House. Post mortem by Dr Purdon Cause of death appoplexy (sic); verdict of jury accordingly.

Evening Post 17 September 1873
An inquest was held at Marton on the 9th instant by Mr Ross, coroner, on the body of George Abraham Partridge, who had died very suddenly. In accordance with the evidence of Dr Purdon, who made the post mortem examination, the jury returned a verdict that the cause of death was apoplexy.
