The marriage of Miss Myrtle Routley, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Routley, Trentham, to Mr. William Hughes, of Wellington, took place on Thursday at St. John''s Church, Trentham, the Rev. J. H. Sykes officiating. The bride wore a handsome gown of white satin charmeuse, trimmed with shallow lace and pearls, and a tulle veil with coronet of orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were Miss Bedford, of Trentham, Miss Routley, of Auckland, and Miss Hughes. Mr. Allwright was best man, and Messrs. J. Hughes and N. Routley groomsmen. The bridegroom''s gift to the bride was a set of fox furs, and to the chief bridesmaids a gold bangle, to Miss Routley a pearl brooch, and to Miss Hughes a jewel casket. Mr. and Mrs. Hughes are spending their honeymoon in the South.
