Evening Post 6 December 1882
The quarterly meeting of the Hutt Licensing Committee was held yesterday, and was attended by Messrs. Milne (Chairman), Wilkins, and McILlvride. The business transacted was of an unimportant nature, consisting of the cancelling of the license of the Albion Hotel, Taita. This action was taken in consequence of the receipt of a letter from Mr. Nelson, the licensee, stating that he did not intend to re-build the premises burnt down some months ago, and did not wish to retain the license. Constable Mackay represented the police.
