Miss Clara Meager, pupil taecher in the Thorndon School, who lives at the Taita, asked that the cost of the instruction prescribed by the Board should be borne by that body. The Board decided that no special arrangements could be made in her case, but they resolved to transfer her to a school nearer her home at the earliest opportunity.
