THE Friends of Reuben King are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral of his late beloved daughter, Ruth, which will leave his residence, Taita, on Friday, 1st March, 1907, at 2.30 p.m., for the Church of England Cemetery, Taita.

Ruth King, the six-year-old daughter of Reuben King, farmer, in the Hutt district, died at the Hospital yesterday morning from the effects of burns. The deceased child sustained these burns on 30th January at the Taita, by her clothes catching fire when she was attending a picnic with several other children near her father''s place. She appeared to make satisfactory progress at the Hospital until Sunday, when she took a turn for the worse, and never rallied. The coroner, Mr. James Ashcroft, decided not to hold an inquest.
