Among the passengers booked for England by the s. s. Ionic appears the name of Mr. Thos. Hayward, of Haywards. Mr. Hayward is a very old settler, having arrived in the colony as far back as 1849, since which time he has never yet visited the Old Country. He expects to be away about seven or eight months.
