CLEARING SALE OF DAIRY STOCK
At Mr. Adam Gordon''s Farm, Taita.
MACDONALD, WILSON AND CO. have received instructions from Mr. Adam Gordon, who has leased his property and giving up dairying, to sell on the farm, Main Road, Taita (opposite Mr. Mason''s) -
15 good dairy cows and heifers in milk - 9 of the cows are in full milk and 5 will calve in July and August. All the cows now in milk have not long calved.
2 weaners, half-draught mare in foal, fat pig, spring cart built by McIlvride (will carry 1 1/2 tons), set spring cart harness, light spring cart and set of light harness, double-seated buggy by Collett (almost new, a really good trap), set of buggy harness, 2 Scotch s.f. ploughs, Planet Jr. scarifier, set tine harrows and 2 single harrows, Hornsby. back-delivery reaping machine, sundry lot of garden tools, 11 milk cans and 12 milk pans, barrel churn, mowing machine, and large collection of sundries; stack of good hay, about 10 tons potatoes (Derwents and Brown Rivers).
The cows are all good milkers, have been passed by the Veterinary Surgeon, and will satisfy any good judge. The whole lot must be sold, as the farm has been leased.

A limited number of outside entries will be received for this sale. Will intending sellers please advise us early in order to ensure due publicity.
Refreshments to satisfy any ordinary man will be provided.
