Daysh, his freehold property at Taita, Lower Hutt, containing 12 1/2 acres with a six-roomed dwellinghouse and farm buildings. Although there were several bidders, the higher offer did not quite reach the owner''s reserve, but Messrs. Bethune and Co. have since succeeded in selling the property to Mr. J. R. Cottle, of Belmont

DAYSH.- On the 5th August, 1920, at Bowen street Hospital, Mary Ada, beloved wife of Henry Daysh, Martinborough.

There died in Bowen-street Hospital this morning Mrs. Daysh, wife of Mr. Henry Daysh, a well-known Martinborough resident. The late Mrs. Daysh, who had been suffering for a long period, was a lady of estimable character, an ardent patriotic worker, and her death will be deeply regretted. She was born in Cornwall, and had been a resident of New Zealand for 47 years. She is survived by her husband, one son (Mr. Norman J. Daysh, who is in America); and two daughters, Mrs. Campbell Smith, of Martinborough, and. Mrs. Pring Davey, of Palmerston North Mr. T. H. Davey (ex M.P.), of Christchurch, is a brother of the late Mrs. Daysh, and Mrs. Murdock Taylor, of Featherston, and Mrs. Frank Warnock, Napier, are sisters.
