And Of the Bankruptcy of CHARLES LENARD (sic) COLSON, of the Taita, in the Provincial District of Wellington, Farmer, a Debtor.
THIS is to notify that Charles Lenard Colson, of the Taita, in the Provincial District of Wellington, Farmer, has this day filed in the Supreme Court at Wellington a declaration that he is unable to meet his engagements with his creditors. The first meeting of creditors to be held at the Supreme Court House, Wellington, on Thursday, the 26th day of May, 1881, at 2 p.m.

A meeting of the creditors of Charles Lenard (sic) Colson, of Taita, farmer, was convened for 2 o''clock. The liabilities are returned at £415 16s 2d comprising debts due to Moorhouse, Edwards and Cutten, £261; Mrs. G. Buck. £48; Brogden and Son, £45; Izard and Bell, £30. The assets are filed at £76 10s, being composed of value of lease of farm (six years to run), £20; and stock, implements, &c. There was no quorum, and the meeting stood adjourned till to-morrow afternoon.
