OBITUARY.
MRS CHARLOTTE RUSSELL.
The death occurred on Friday at Lower Hutt of Mrs Charlotte Hannah Russell at the age of 71. The late Mrs Russell was the daughter of Mr and Mrs John Clement, who were early settlers in the Hutt Valley. In 1881 she married the late Mr Charles Russell, who predeceased her ten years ago. After farming in Stokes Valley until 1912 they retired to reside in Nai- Nai, but since the death of her husband Mrs Russell had lived in Lower Hutt. The late Mrs Russell was a keen supporter of the Methodist Church. She leaves four sons and four daughters, Nurse M. S. Russell, Miss I. E. Russell and Mrs J. Stalker, of Lower Hutt; Mrs E. Humphrey, Westport; Mr. E. C. Russell, Stoke, Nelson; Mr H. C. Russell, Pakowhai, Hastings; Mr. H. F. Russell, Bulls; and Mr C. R. Russell, Hokitika; and 11 grandchildren.
